Africa owes itself a duty to protect the environment individually and through collaboration with emerged states. By focusing on tailor-made solutions such as reliance on wind and solar energy and mainstreaming it with nature-based solutions, the continent would achieve its climate ambitions by far, creating a model for replication in other regions of the world.
